Blue Water Media is a full-service television and video
production/post-production company owned and managed by media
professionals with broad backgrounds in television production, public
relations and broadcast journalism. Our company was founded in
1998 to produce lifestyle-oriented television programming and
corporate video communications and marketing products.

Blue Water Media has produced many hours of original television
programming for regional and national cable networks and public
television broadcast stations nationwide. Our broadcast/cable
network credits include "Maximum Marine", "American Boater", "Rev It
Up". Blue Water Media also provided turnkey production and
post-production services for the PBS series "Simple Living", which is
broadcast to more than 70% of US households.

In addition, Blue Water Media has produced projects for a long list of
corporate/institutional clients, helping them to achieve a wide variety
of communications and marketing goals. Our client list includes the
North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association, Progress Energy,
Duke University Medical System, Speed Channel, The Simple Living
Company, Triumph Boats, Benchcraft Furniture, National Marine
Manufacturers Association, Vessel Assist Association of America,

David Dalton, managing partner

David Dalton has almost 30 years' experience as a television producer, videographer, editor, and as a manager of
television/video production facilities. Before co-founding Blue Water Media in 1998, Dalton was General Manager/Senior
Vice President of Vision Video, a broadcast and corporate television production facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
His team produced a number of award-winning products, earning EMMYs and ADDYs for commercials and public television
documentaries. Dalton also spent years in broadcast television news, where he served as Executive Producer for NBC
affiliates in Winston-Salem and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Theresa Dalton, managing partner

Theresa Dalton has 25 years of experience as a television producer, writer, and public relations professional. Before
co-founding Blue Water Media, Theresa was a public relations specialist for the North Carolina Department of Human
Services, where she managed a national award winning communications campaign concerning child support. In addition,
Dalton served as Director of Media Relations for the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill; Director of Communications for the North Carolina State Senate, and as a news producer for three North
Carolina network television affiliates.
